I wouldn't either if that's all I drove. My '05 6.0 PSD had about the same amount too, but after driving my '12 twin turbine turbo, turbo lag is very minimal.

Being older and maybe wiser and staying away from the new trucks also makes me richer. I do understand the difference from 05 to 2015 but not unhappy about it.

You do realize in 05 the Duramax introduced a newly designed Garret variable vane turbo and EGR system to meet stricter emission standards. So yes back in 05 the Duramax engine had new tech stuff that you must have not realized at the time of your purchase, and perhaps the older wiser guys at that time must have been telling you the same old story. :W

My retired parents still have their 05 with less than 50k miles although my dad has been eye balling new trucks.
