Are we supposed to have to clean intercoolers? Must have missed it some where but I don't have your vast knowledge of the 6.7. Only have two 2015 f-350's running out of my shop both with well over 200K miles and not one of the problems you always talk about. Well, I guess you can keep making up reasons to bash a Ford. :R
So will the turbo outlet tube/adapter still be the same plastic one that breaks? There is a thread going on the Heartland forum about people carrying a spare or replacing it with a aftermarket SS one. And the OP had a lot of oil on the turbo wheel, which others said is normal because crankcase vent is routed to intake. How often does the intercooler have to be removed and cleaned? Chris - takenExplorer IIThe new 2017 Ford cab (same as the 15+ 150's) is almost 4" longer that the previous generation.

I agree about the wide-track front axle. 4wd Fords have a terrible turning radius, regardless of the cab/bed length, but particularly bad with a crew cab and 8' bed.
Dodge did make the cab a little bigger when they went from the quad cab to the crew cab. Their crew cab isn't as big as the GM and Ford crew cabs though.
The mega cab is overkill. Dodge needs to make one crew cab, longer than their current one, but shorter than their mega cab, half way in between. Then they would be even with, or slightly bigger than the other 2 brands. And most importantly, they need to make it with an 8 foot bed. Using the wide track front axle from the 4500/5500 would be nice too.
Have you been in a 2010 or newer Ram HD crew cab? If the Ford is larger it certainly isn't by much. It would have certainly met my needs and the only reason I went with the Megacab was so it would fit in my garage. The crew cab long box was about 4" too long. :M - SoCalDesertRid1Explorer III agree about the wide-track front axle. 4wd Fords have a terrible turning radius, regardless of the cab/bed length, but particularly bad with a crew cab and 8' bed.

I see you can now opt to delete the carpet on the high end '17 Super Duty's. Also for the people who own and enjoy the large cab of the current Super Duty the new one maintains the deep window sills which works great as a arm rest.

So Ford once again is catching up with Ram? You have been able to delete the carpet on the Ram high trim models for a few years now. I use my arm rest for arm rest. LOL Large cab? HAHAHA!!Funny.:B (insert stir the pot smiley here)
Honestly, I really like the F150's. If the SD is just like them they are going to be nice.........although still a little cab.:B
At least us Ford guys get a decent sized cab with our LONG BED trucks. To get a few more inches in your rear seat you Dodge Megacab boys have to give up the option to have a real 8ft truck bed.
Talk about little...the regular quad cab that comes on a Dodge with an 8ft bed...keeps me and a lot of other contractors from even considering the brand.
The other main reason I passed on considering the Dodge was that to get the max rated towing in the Dodge, I had to drive a 2wd reg cab dually! Really??
I'll take my max tow rating in a fully loaded F450 crew cab long bed 4x4. Only comes one way....easy to figure out...one and done.
Don't even get me started on the turning radius...no comparison with the wide track front axle...made the Dodge feel like my old 7.3 CCLB compared to the F350 and F450 duallies with the wide track.
In my opinion they should add some wider rear fender flares and axles on the SRW trucks and make that wide track standard on all Superduties. - buc1980ExplorerAnybody from Ford can give us more info?

only 15 bobtail - still lower cost per mile.
not better - cheaper
How do you figure cheaper per mile? Keep in mind I take care of a fleet of trucks, class 8 trucks included.
For me ,remember for me -canadian I very rarely buy fuel here where it runs about double state side.
I save 2-300 bucks per fill ,more then makes up for the mileage difference between my pick up
and the volvo -class 7 btw-.
A major engine or transmission repair doesn't bear thinking about ,but maintenance has been the close to the same as my F250.
I recently replace 4 drives $390 each should last way longer then pick up tires and a alternator $250 including a belt.
No other bills , remember you maintain a fleet that does more miles in 3 weeks than I do in a year
