Can you possibly help him get his teeth fixed??? - 1jeepExplorer IIbiggest thing that bothers me about my truck that I dislike is the top of the dash. mine is hard plastic with a door up top that houses the AV connections, I think the Ram and Denali were much nice having a leather like cover. Stupid but it is something that for some reason has started to bother me. Even my wife's 2010 Cadillac has a leather dash cover.
other than that honestly having driven all 3 brand duallys I don't think you could go wrong with any brand. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

I haven't really found the wood part of the wheel to be an issue and in the winter I wont find the heated part to be one either.
The wood part of my wheel is black. It gets pretty hot.
mine is wood colored, medium brown ish, as is the other fake wood parts on the dash.
Fill in your profile so we can see what truck you have.
The LongHorn and Limited both have all real wood.
sorry not a ram, I own a ford. I almost bought a ram limited, it was a very close decision.
2016 f350 crew cab dually, heavy tow with 4:30 gears and platinum package.
No need to be sorry! That's a nice ride. - 1jeepExplorer II

I am a Ford owner, yet I share the same frustration as MeAgain (Chris) with respect to FishOnOne (Troy) trolling Ram related threads for no other reason but to make derisive comments and talk about Fords... leading to the Ram threads closure, while FishOnOne's Ford marketing threads live on, indefinitely, and even redundantly.
.
Let's be fair though, there are a few others who that as well. It is literally high school antics with some around here and no matter how much we complain and ask for it to stop, it goes unchecked. - Charlie_D_Explorer

IM not a Ford fan, but do like the new look, almost looks like a GMC,LOL.Its great that mfgs keep raising the bar,the result is really great trucks with a great deal of refinement.
Along with, all three, raising their pricing to insane levels. Offering big discounts that still leave them overpriced for those who get emotionally attached to them as soon as they get on the lot. My son is that way. I'm sure there are some savvy buyers on this forum but, IMO, most people overpay for their vehicles. Buddy down the street just bought a 1500 Ram ecodiesel. Retired and putts around town with it. His son and the son and SIL of the friend across the street are the same way. They bought used Ford 6.0 within the last 2 years. I advised them against it. None hardly leave town. One cratered within a month to the tune of $6,000 +. Had it done at the local Ford dealer and traded it in on a used Ram from same dealer. Told me he thought the previous owner had used fuel from a tank on the FARM. Another hauled off by wrecker and I never saw again. The 3rd was quickly traded. All three had bragging rights of having a diesel for an expensively short time. - SoCalDesertRid1ExplorerIt's nice to see Ford has finally put some halfway descent looking rear fenders on the dually pickups again.
I'm interested in these new Dana M275 and M300 rear axles. The M275 looks like a good upgrade over the Ford 10.50" axle and the M300 a good upgrade over the Dana 80. My guess is they had reached the torque input and GCWR limits of the older axles.
I'm not into frilly foo-foo on trucks. For me, a truck is a tool to accomplish a task. I prefer to keep it simple. The XLT basic trim has as much luxury and gadgetry as I would ever want in a truck.
If I want a Cadillac, I will buy a Cadillac. Actually, I would probably buy a Town Car or Continental instead. :)
