Air bags

I like the Firestone Ride Rites on mine. I run about 50# in them when pulling my 12K fiver and then back off to 7# when not towing. Only takes about a minute with a small 12 volt air compressor to go from 7# to 50#. They were pretty easy to install laying under it on my back in the garage, and I'm over 60. I'm also sure the others are good. Probably all good choices and just boils down to your preference and best pricing. Good luck. Keith

I had put Firestone bags on a previous truck (F150) and really liked them. I only got Timbrens this time because they were cheaper.

Well in the real world we should all get MDT to haul all FW's. I am looking to level the ride a bit I thought having the camper pkg would of worked better.

goducks, as he stated, was just kidding about you needing a MDT:)

If you're just looking to level your load, The Firestone airbags will do that for you and it's a fairly easy install...probably wouldn't take much air added to level the load.. When empty, you can probably drop air pressure in bags to minimum recommended.....just something you'd have to play around with when not towing:)

As far as airbags Have had both Airlift, and firestone, no issues with either. I am sure Helwig are also a good option. I went with Airlift 5000 Ultimate this last time, had a $50.00 rebate . I think pick your brand, pay your money. I believe Airlift does have a little better warranty then Firestone.
