Haven't bought yet. I saw the BPS ad over the weekend but I read that it was $99 and only a 5 hour sale. Cabelas had the same thing. Hope I am wrong.

I think I am going Costco. $79 with a 30 month warranty.

I bought my last dodge truck batteries at Autozone
good batteries for $135 ea, they have 100 cold cranking amp more than the morpar OE batteries.

there is always a autozone close by and open weekends, if you were to have trouble.

so far, so good and they installed them for me, boys did a good job

I buy all my truck, tractor, jeep and lawnmower batteries from them.

Bottom line is buy a marine grade battery for your boat. I have a couple of Deep Cycle batteries from Bass Pro Shops that are ~ 3 years old and going strong.

I bought a Group 27 deep cycle Interstate battery last year from NAPA and paid $110 plus tax. I like to support my local merchants and keep it in the local economy and not have my money go to Bentonville and the Walton family of billionaires.

I also don't like it that the average Wal-Mart store costs the state and federal governments $1.7 million in medical and food and other welfare payments to Wal-Mart employees who strangely enough can't survive on Wal-Mart wages. Does not help that Wal-Mart does not pay for their forced overtime hours of work. Why would anyone shop at such an evil company to save a few bucks. I guess I put a greater value on my integrity.

I am a fan of the AGM regardless of brand .
I am not an advocate of battery tenders .
They cost money and can lead to overcharging / evaporation issues.
I disconnect the batteries in my boat for all winter .
I disconnect my TT batteries ( fully charged ) after every trip .
They stay fully charged through the winter freeze ups .
My friends have lost batteries due to cracking / freezing because they lost their charge over the winter .
I have gone to AGM ( over time ) in everything because of the low cost Exide EDGE available from BiMart .

Johnson Control makes most of them. I will check Costco tomorrow. Otherwise it will probably be Walmart.

I kind of like the Sears Platinum for the truck which is 5 year replacement IIRC. Your right though a AGM is my pick for boats, and of course a bunch of 6 volts for the RV :B
As mentioned, there is only 3 manufactures in the USA, but each company spec's them differently, thus the price, month, CCA difference.
Usually a pro rated battery credit will give the same results as the spec's didn't change.

No idea. I bought 6 batteries at the same time. Two for my boat, 2 for my 5er and 2 that ended up with my FIL. The 5 other batteries are still ok.
