Bed Supports

I just bought a used 2001 Palomino S-21SL that is missing one set of bed supports. Is there anyplace on line that they can be ordered?

Thank you.

  • Made some for my sister in laws Jayco by crimping the ends of elec conduit in a vice and finishing the ends with a grinder.

Worked great and was free since the conduit was free. Just prop the bed open and measure for length.

Not True Oasisbob, our 2000 Palomino Stampede S21 had two different sized poles. the back ones were shorter than the fronts. The rear bunk was actually about 2 inches closer to the ground than the front. The front had a U-shaped dinette, so was up higher. Back to OP... email Forest River, they were very good with me when I was looking for the specs on the trailer. I gave them the serial number and i got a list of everything that trailer was manufactured with.

  • i think all Palomino hybrids, since Forest River bought the company from Vanguard, have cable supported ends, no pole supports.

but you'd think that all hybrid manufacturers used the same hardware for the pole supports. maybe popups too.
maybe another company might have a matching pole.

one big reason i love the cable system. can't lose them.
  • I think you are better off making one. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, take the one you have to any machine shop and I'm sure they'll be able to duplicate it easily. The older Palominos were made by Vanguard...newer ones are made by Forest River so I'm not sure how easily you could get one from the company.
  • My first option, if I didn't have contact information to the mfgr. would be to google the information you stated and see what comes up. There may be many options available to you by doing that.
  • If they were any thing like mine were. You could get a pice of conduit And crimp one end and cut and bent to fit.

Or you find a dealer that sells that make call them up and ask them.
