What say you now? 350/3500 DUALLY sales what are the real numbers???
I am in the SoCal PalmSprings, CA in the winter where the full timers are. It's truly a rare sight seeing a DRW Ford pulling a 5er. GM and RAM DRW's dominate.
So you see more Rams in your neck of the woods doesn't mean squat. If I were to come to that type of conclusion, driving thru Maine, Subaru is the #1 selling vehicle in the US.
The numbers are still the same. I'll still stick to my conclusion. Since Ford outsells Ram in class 5 by almost 3 to 1, makes the data even more conclusive. - patriotgruntExplorer

I like being able to change my oil filter without having to remove my front right tire or the air box housing and tube. Come to think of it, changing the fuel filters is pretty easy too on the Fords and I don't have to worry about the transmission until 150K miles.
Great reasons to not buy a truck! Wow with all that and great mirrors i'm bout ready to jump ship!
Well there's more reasons than that but I don't want to spend hours typing them out. You'd be here all day reading and then you'd spend the next few days haggling with dealers trying to trade your Ram in on a good Ford. I'd rather you drive in ignorance and not know what your missing. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIIspud1957

Yet, Ford falsely continues their claims that they sell more pickups and it's wildly misleading because all their pickups and even larger trucks are all called "F" series trucks. Just a fictitious marketing ploy but far from reality and honesty!
NO, they do not include anything greater than a class 3 truck in these sales numbers.
The Ford Authority website quashes that fallacy (alternative fact).
Fordauthority.com shows 57,995 units sold. Also scroll down the page and it states these sales numbers are for F150,250,350 & 450 only.
Fordauthority.com Jan truck sales
Pickuptrucks.com shows the same 57,995 units.
Pickuptrucks.com Jan sales
I will correct myself. The F550 is included in the 57,995 Pickup truck sales. I do have an email from Erich Merkle from Ford confirming this.
The F650 and F750 ARE NOT. They are classified as Heavy Trucks and are broken out separately in the Ford's official monthly sales report. Scroll down to the last page.
December 2016 Sales
The January sales number do match up with Pickuptruck.com's and Fordauthority.com sales numbers.

Did you cut a hole in the plastic fender liner or do you just spill oil all over the ground? I've changed the oil on a newer Ram and it couldn't be in a worse place.
Mine has a hole...all but just big enough to get filter out. I spin off the filter and let it rest on the cross member, I then reach in and put finger in the hole and yank it out in one fluid motion. This is my first Ram a 2015 Dually and have changed the oil 4 times now and have yet to make a mess by the filter. Yes a touch may splash out or what ever bu no more of a mess than when I used to change my 7.3L Ford. - Wild_CardExplorer

"What about those who bought the gold standard Cummins and got burned? My uncle hasn't had a single ram mafia member offer to reimburse the bill for his new engine at 130K miles on his 2006. I'm pretty sure he's not holding his breath. So much for those who said "buy the cummins, it will never let you down."
Maybe you should explain why the engine failed. My Dad smoked #6 in his 94 RAM because he kept pulling on the Syskious pass in northern Ca, his fan clutch was not working. NOT the Cummins fault!
There is always more to the story, please do tell.
I suppose the injectors are not cummins fault either when they melt a piston. :W
When you hop up the tune, one can't blame the mfg. - patriotgruntExplorerDid you cut a hole in the plastic fender liner or do you just spill oil all over the ground? I've changed the oil on a newer Ram and it couldn't be in a worse place.
