Travels with Yoly, Youtube has been around since about 2005. I thought you had a typo.

OP was definitely trying to make this a big deal. If he wasn't, he wouldn't have titled his youtube video the way he did or even started his thread here.

You can agree or disagree with whether he should or not. I don't have a problem with it, but this forum is about the most critical place on the internet to post this type of thread. Most of us are about sucking it up, making a fix, and moving on. Then, we can go camping. We realize RVs have some very odd problems that shouldn't be there. Oh well ...

For the record ... I got my first movie camera when I was 11 years old in 1959. It's a Kodak 8mm key wind up spring drive mechanism ... I still have it along with the projector for it. I took movies all through high school of track and cross country meets in the 60s and took it with me to Viet Nam in the late 60s. Making movies/videos has been a lifelong hobby for me so sorry if you find it incredulous. There are almost 300 videos on my channel at the moment :-) Also for the record, I've been sucking it up and fixing things for many years on all of the 7 campers we've owned.

billyray50. You can respectfully disagree all you want based on YOUR personal experience but you certainly can not change how I feel about MY personal experience. You misread and misinterpreted what I previously wrote. As a refresher, here are the exact words I wrote ...

"We've owned our Adventurer for 2 years now and love the floor plan. No issues at all with it."

First, I did not say we've owned 2 Adventurers. We've owned 1 Adventurer TC for 2 years (now 2.5 years).

Second, my original feelings hold true. We still love the floor plan and have not had a major issue with the unit. It was the lack of responsiveness and action on other items that I had requested of the G.M. of the local Adventurer dealership that prompted my recent comments above.

However and again, based on my personal experience, AMLRV's after the sale responsiveness is sub-standard. There is no contradiction between what I said before and what I am saying now. Two different topics i.e. product (above average) vs. service (not very responsive).

I apologize for misreading your post. Sorry to hear your troubles with local dealer. I have always dealt with Brad at Adventurer not the dealer and customer service and warranty issues has always been addressed in a timely manner.

So you had problems with the local independent dealer or AMLRV directly?

To me, making a video isn't a big deal. I've been making videos for 57 years now. The internet is filled with them. I didn't consider this as "making a fuss". It was just simply way of letting others know who may have an interest in something like this. I also wanted Adventurer to know that blowing off a customer like this isn't always the best approach. So I made a little video, what's the big deal ? Seems like others made it into a "big fuss".

Door---------------> should swing the other way. LOL..WOW I thought I get thrown down to the ground. A door skin is cheep...a new door not so much but hey, take it with a grain of salt...we all learned something here.
