Cleaning & sealing a membrane roof

I put some oxyclean in a bucket of hot water and use a soft scrub brush.

Actually there is. Cleaning your roof reduces black streaks. Which I guess could be argued that its also aesthetics. But who wants to spend thousands of dollars and have black streaks?

As for re-sealing, check out every place there's sealant and if it's cracked or otherwise failing, either fill it in or if needed, remove and re-seal the area.
Avoid soaking the membrane with strong solvents because they will break the material down.

Some will disagree but Acetone is one of the best cleaners. Make real sure it stays on the roof or it will take paint off the sides of your RV.
