Minus the 6.7 Cummins head gaskets :W
Tell me more first I have not heard of this issue. Highly bombed engines yes, stock no!
Off to TDR to research.
Back. Sounds pretty much the same as the PS 6.0 EGR/VVT problem. Can happen on the EPA vintage 07.5-12 trucks that I would never buy. Suckie mileage and diesel in the oil. Think I will keep my 24V and wait until I win the Lotto and get a new one.

Bingo... And that's why many have called the 6.7 cummins the next 6.0 Power Stroke.
And to those who always blame the tuner... Look at the many 5.9 cummins running tuners with no head gasket failures even while towing heaving loads.
Interesting, I've been reading on the Cumminsforum for 1.5 yrs and have only read of a couple if that of head gasket problems from stock 6.7's. Almost everyone is from a deleted truck running a tuner. Same with tranny issues, it's almost always a guy with a tuner.
Yep, did a search in the Cummins forum 4th gen Power train several blown HG, all running tuners and deleted, most at MAX setting. Hard to believe 350 HP and 650 lb. ft. of torque wasn't enough. Likely could have still been on the same HG if they had installed ARP head studs before the tuner.
