I am in the same boat..have 2013 Laramie 1500 and dont have squat for payload, so I started looking at 5ers and the 2500 CTD (was looking at trailers for the 1500). I quickly realized their is hardly any difference in price and ride between the 2014 2500's and 3500, but the payload difference is huge. I am ordering a 2014 Laramie Longhorn 3500 CTD here soon and I expect to have almost 4k of payload to work with for a new 5er...suggest you look at the 3500 as well:)
