- Optimistic_ParaExplorerIf you've got one of a pair of dually tires sitting on thin air, then obviously the other tire is carrying ALL the weight.
So do you know how much weight each wheel position is carrying? And do you know how much weight a single wheel is rated to carry, at the air pressure you have in it?
If you can answer those two questions, then the answer to your question should be obvious. - jp3731Explorer

Same here. - billyray50ExplorerUsually both rear tires on slide side for me.
- Buzzcut1Nomad III usually put the lego blocks under both tires on my dually
- lap527ExplorerWe put boards under each tire. If we need an additional board then we add one across the bottom boards.
- Kayteg1Explorer IIWhen you put plank only on 1 side - the tire will flex under excessive load, so you have to put double planks to get single plank lift.
You get +- the same lift when putting those 2 planks under each wheel one and the truck will rock less. - Reality_CheckNomad IIIt's a static load... doesn't make much difference.
On single night trips and/or when snow camping (when we don't take the camper off) I use blocks/ramps alot. Single tire. - GTO66Explorer III use 2x8 under both tires on which ever side its needed. My TC is around 4000 lbs I like to spread it around when possible.
- fpooleExplorerYah, I've often wondered that too...
I had been putting or driving up the little yellow Lego ramps with the outside tire.. looked a little strained, so now put the ramp on the inside tire...
As mentioned above, probably doesn't make a whole lotta difference... - jimh406Explorer IIIUsually 2 on one side, but I don't think it matters much.
