We own a small Airstream. I can't speak more highly about its construction, quality and handling. It was expensive and time will tell whether it will turn out to be worth it but, so far so good. Almost all campers have the same appliances, furnaces, air conditioners etc but the super insulated walls with aluminum inside and out, extra large and strong door, cabinet and other hardware, torsion bar axle, streamline design (less drag, better rain runts off etc, not just "pretty"), and much more helped make our decision. I could buy two maybe even two and a half other campers for what I paid. But I suspect the Airstream will outlast them by the same amount or more. Again, time will tell. I will let you know in twenty years.
