It's a fact that many of the sub-systems in RVs are common to all lines
It's also a fact (other then Airstream) that high-end rigs and low-end rigs are made with similar techniques.
What is different, is workmanship. The better rigs are made better, they might be wood-framed, they might be metal framed. What they have in common, is they are well made.
As others have noted, sometimes you have to look past "glitz". I once saw a $700K Motorhome at a show, that was so poorly done that the bathroom door didn't close, the birdseye maple ceiling panel sagged, etc.
Expensive doesn't always mean, well made.
