JMHO, Modern TTs have two classifications. Those that use metal or fiber glass roofs, and those that use TPO or EPDM roofs. A co-worker of mine has one with an aluminum roof that has seen all kinds of abuse over the years, not to mention neglect. Never has leaked a drop.
Were I to buy a TT all over again, unless it was a custom model, I'd probably go with a Livin' Lite. Aluminum doesn't rot. Nor does Azdel. It might get moldy or damage an appliance, but a single small leak in the roof won't destroy the rig in a couple months if left undetected. Its "space station" appearance may be a turn-off, but if one wants a rig that will last with basic upkeep, this would be it.
