Bumpyroad,
Not Jayco as we were there about a month ago and had a meeting with the trailer Product Development Director "Amy Duthie". I know Carriage Corp didn't either as I had dealings with CT Yoder, the founder & owner until 1999 when he sold it and retired. Different frames, coach wall/floor/roof structures (wood/aluminum in different models), different appliances, converters, furniture brands, axles/wheels/tires, mattresses, etc. Keystone, Forest River, and Thor have many different divisions in several different buildings and locations and their product lines vary but all use the ??? Lippert Frames and several components that I know of. Many different lines for different product lines, entry to their high end. However, Carriage, Lifestyle and some others should never be mentioned in the same sentence with names like Keystone/Forest River/Thor. Whoops, I just did!
Lance Corp uses CNC precision machining to make all their TC and TT's coach components exactly alike while other TC manufacturers use the old style handcut/jig assembly method which is far from precise and many variables occur. Very differrent cushions/foams, insulation fitting without air gaps with CNC, even materials used like Azdel vs cheap thin wood, chip, or fiber, panels covering the framing. Vast differences between manufacturers and with some between product lines.
