- buckyExplorer IIFCA has been spoken to by the Feds about slowing recall parts availability intentionally to better control their budget. I don't remember the outcome, but I lived it along with GM, Honda, and Toyota for 44 years.
When they were Chrysler they were fine. When they were Daiimler they were OK. Now that they are FCA they are a Ron White joke.
The same people still build them, they are not the problem. The problem is the big shot muckity mucks that make the decisions. I don't hate the products, I hate the company. The sooner they sell the good pieces off the better. - smurfs_of_warExplorerSooo... this was fun.
- Well got to speak with my cousin today and talking about truck stuff I mentioned this recall and his response was don't get him started on the ram recalls. He showed me a picture of the 55 gallon drums full of suspension parts, and now they're waiting for water pumps. He mentioned ram cannot get parts supply out to the dealers before the next recall happens so customers trucks have to be worked on multiple times which kills the techs bottom line as these warranty repairs pay chump change and just backs up the shop repairs. At this point he's not sure what the recall repair will entail.
As for others sharing recall information I'm ok with it as long it's accurate information or not something that happened 30 years ago which only misleads people, but then again I'm sure people know this as well. - ShinerBockExplorer

Im with a lot of others here. I saw no jab at ram. All I saw was ( Not another recall for these guys to whine over!) You need to lighten up a bit and stop thinking every one is always brand bashing like you do.
Please read my post above. And besides posting the inconsistinces in Tesla's CEO's promises, what brands am I "always" bashing that you speak of. Please give me specifics. - ShinerBockExplorer

Your colors were shown when you bring another brand into the picture as we new you would since this isn't your first time to call in the ford trucks from the early 80's.
Last I checked this recall is for brand new hd ram trucks, but I believe the new Ford G transmission had a similar issue recently.
Well then don't post your little jabs in if you don't want to start this circle jerk. Recalls are a touchy subject for any one which is why I either don't post anything in them if it is a different brand or I will post that I hope that it gets fixed before anyone gets hurt.
People like you who make passive aggressive post on purpose to stir the pot are the main reasons why these circle jerks get started. You post a purposely placed jab, vehicle owners get defensive and jab back, you get defensive and jab back, and the whole thing just goes round and round.
We know you don't like Rams or Cummins or just about any HD trucks that is a Ford or Powerstroke. We get that, but do you have to be a &#%$ all the time about it and get go out of your way to get your jabs in? It is the Holiday season for Pete's sake.
BTW, I would say the same to Cummins24 if done the same in a Ford recall thread so don't think it is just a brand thing. It is about being considerate to other people on a touchy subject.
Says the guy who has contributed how many of the 80+ pages of anti-Tesla jabs?
Lighten up.
Do a little more back reading. I posted that because Fish posted his first little jab and when someone else(not me) jabbed back then he posted what I quoted above back at them. If you are going to get your jabs in then don't complain when someone jabs back is what I was trying to say there.
Basically, if you don't want @&$# then don't start @&#$. If you are willing to start @&#$ then don't complain when someone returns the favor.
In regards to the Tesla thread, have I once complained about someone rebutting any of my posts? No because if I am willing to posted it then I should be willing to debate it. - nevadanickExplorerMy 2010 Ram wouldnt come out of park.

Lighten up. - tinner12002ExplorerWell I hadn't heard about it yet either. Last recall I seen was for a water pump which they don't have parts to fix it with yet. Just had truck in 2 weeks ago for a couple updates.
