For 2014/2015 Eco-diesel Owners

Oh boy, Shawn's videos are even making it to RV.net. Shawn bought a 1500 ED and run's it like a big rig. I believe he does shipping work, like on the television show Shipping Wars. He sleeps in his truck, and leaves it idling hours at a time. He put a banks piggyback tuner and water/methanol injection. He also does a lot of other tinkering. Not blaming him, but just seeing what he does makes me question his issue.

On the note of winter fronts, looks like I don't qualify. The truck I purchased didn't come with the block heater cord. I guess I am on my own.

Unrelated to the ED, I have seen powersport aftermarket cams improperly marked or pressed. I had press off the sprocket and manually reindex the cam to make it work properly.

Wow! He is using a term coined from the 6.0 and 6.4 Powerstrokes. He is going to "bullet proof" the engine, by coming up with a solution to a pressed on sprocket slipping. Suppose they will machine a keyway and key it to the shaft? Chris

Block heaters have been standard on all Canadian CTD's for years and a cover came with my 2011 3500. Still in the box.

Never seen a vehicle that has had such an emotional reaction as the ED on this forum. It's either a huge game changer or Satan's own invention, threatening our very way of life. Depending on who you listen to.

I still can't figure out why our Canyon came with the block heater. And I might ad in typical GM order, hidden really good :B

I want mine! I am going to nake aluminum grill inserts for the Jeep and was thinking for the EcoD, too.

My 2005 F250 PSD did not come with a cover even though I had this package. The heater was optional with no additional option for an OEM cover.

LOL...I would be more impressed with the Chrysler Corp. if the NHTSA wouldn't have to be so involved to motivate FCA to do the right things.

I'm sorry but the massive recalls have left a permanent black eye and how they're being handled can only offend the Chrysler customers.
