That is why people like 5 Star tuning make a killing in the MH market.
The only reason why it is de-tuned in the first place is because an EPA mandate says than an incomplete vehicle chassis has to go through an engine dyno certification as opposed to a chassis dyno certification that complete trucks are allowed to go through. The engine dyno certification is much more stringent then the chassis dyno certification so the manufacturers have to de-tune them even more than they already are to meet the requirements.
It is like back in the 70 and 80s when the EPA mandates forced the manufacturers to de-tune their once high horsepower V8's to the point where 4 and 6 bangers were blowing their doors off.
