Gas line
Does anyone know if steel braided gas lines are ok to use? I need to run new lines from the black pipe, and plan on using pre made stuff from menards. Thankyou

I've seen 10 & 20' LP hoses in RV parts shops. Manufacturers use rubber hose from the iron pipe at the front of the TT up to the tanks, so how bad can it be as long as it is out of harm's way and physically protected? I'd still prefer hard pipe but a piece rubber hose could be easier in some cases.

I agree with the copper but I think you'd want to protect it with some plastic wiring loom?
I don't think there are any ready made hoses that long and making the hoses is not usually a DIY. I also wouldn't want a long permanent run of rubber hose.
All of the exterior copper on mine is covered with plastic tubing.
