Nice work Dutchmen! There is still a lot of good people in the world, you're one of them.
So here's my story, if you don't mind me telling it, 'cause it's similar to your story.
We have a basketball hoop set up on the edge or our property, the hoop itself hangs over the road, the rest of the set-up is behind the property line (post, backboard etc). It's been there for years. A neighbor from down the road comes along and isn't watching (says he was looking on the other side of the road at the time) and clips the net with his 32' class A. Nails it with his windshield. Puts a concave smash in the windshield and scraps the corner of the motorhome where he hit the post as he's knocking it over. Here's where things get different than your story ... he says it's my fault. My fault cause the hoop is over the property line. It's been there for years, it's 9' in the air, it's red and blue ... and it's STATIONARY. But he says it's my fault and is hinting for me to pay for the windshield (he didn't have proper insurance coverage at the time). Ya, I'm not biting on that! Anyways, good job for standing up and making it right Dutchmen!!
