Only ouchie I've ever had was a piece of an oak pallet that was tossed by the beer truck ahead of me. I had a load of horses and traffic on both sides. Couldn't swerve to avoid and as it bounced it speared one of the "Hips". Left it there until the next fuel stop.
As far as I know, the hole is still there. The Ex got the truck and who cares now.
