Without any fear mongering or Scare. This is a simple one. You do not have enough payload for that trailer. I would suspect the real tongue weight is going to be at 1000 lbs or just over and the total loaded out GTW something just north of 8000 lbs. You have a pretty small payload at under 1300 lbs. I would say you will exceed it by over 500 lbs and maybe more. There are some good deals on trucks right now I would be looking if I were you. There are a lot of so called 1/2 tons out there and each one has to be judged on its individual merits but I think if I were going to swap it would be for a 3/4 ton truck.
