Actually its Aisin-Warner or Aisin AW, as they are a joint venture with BorgWarner since 1969. Aisin is 30% owned by Toyota group and as of 2005, Aisin AW passed GM powertrain division as the largest producer of automatic transmissions in the world. I know Cummins12V98, that's not what I wanted to hear either...lol. But its in black and white.
