I have always used the NADA guide for both selling and buying a TC. Another thing I do is check the prices of the specific TC in different areas around the US.
This is how I determined the price of my 1999 Lance 1030 that I sold on eBay. I placed the "buy it now" add on a Sunday morning and had a buyer send an email while I was in church services that he was on the way with cash in hand.
I had posted lots of pictures and facts about the condition of the TC.
Another thing I consider, is what I paid for it, how long I have had it, what modification I performed, and how much I paid for the replacement.
I now have my 4th TC, broke even on selling the first two, and had to pony up a couple thousand more than I intended on the last purchase where I traded in instead of selling outright.
