NADA is based on actual sales of a given camper model and production year in a given part of the country. With campers there are too few units being sold in most parts of the country for the NADA information to be of any real use.
The price one can get for any RV is in large part a function of how many of a particular model and year are available in an area and how many potential buyers are located in or around that same area. When I was looking for a used Lance camper the model I was looking for would come onto the market in my area at that rate of about one camper every 2-3 months and it would sell within 3 days. The same model and year of camper being sold in a very rural area that was 2-3 hours drive time from any big city would sit for months until the seller was forced to drop their price substantially to sell it.
NADA for a 200 mile radius from my house would record 2 campers a year of a given model and that is not going to reflect the condition of the camper or what the owner has in the way of add-ons, like a TV, solar panel, generator, AC.
Craigslist and general google searches for campers listed in the past year will provide a much better indication of the "value" of a camper model for a given year but even then you do need to look at the condition of the camper. I saw campers during my search that had always been stored inside a garage or barn and lightly used only a few times a year and other campers that were used by families with small children and store outdoors and in one case by the ocean where it had a good deal of corrosion from salt laden fog. No way to do an apples to apples comparison.
