Jayco roof / owner failure
Hi all,
We just traded our '06 Jayco Eagle for a fifth wheel. All was well, got a great trade in value, and then we got the call. The roof was rotten all the way around. This was our first camper so I take some of the blame, but I've now read that a certain range of Jayco's had roof issues. I could see no rips, tears, or discolorations on the inside. Yet the roof was so soft in spots you could not walk on top. We took a pretty good hit on the trade, but I learned an expensive lesson. Get up there and crawl around and check that goop around every seam. Or hired someone to do it for you.
