- Bird_FreakExplorer IIOnly experience I have had were the two 2015 F350's I was maintaining for friends pulling new trailers to rv lots before I had stroke. Both had over 300K miles last I checked and no issues on either. Also take note the only naysayers here are Fiat owners who do not have Fords.
- TxsurferExplorerThanks so far
- DinTulsaExplorerBought my 2012 with 10 miles on it, now have just over 46k. It's. Even my daily driver for 5 years and pulled my 10,500 TT for 6k Miles last year. It's a great truck and my plan is to keep it for another 5 years.

When are the next generation Rams supposed to be out? - Ron3rdExplorer IIIBoth are good trucks, can't go wrong with either one, pick the one you like best. What swayed me to the Cummins was I could get is for about $10K less than the Ford. If the Ford was $10K less, I'd be driving the Ford.
- IdaDExplorerIt seems that the newer 6.7 isn't having the injection pump issues the earlier versions did. Maybe they got that CP4 issues addressed with the tweaks they've made. I think all of the diesels are very capable and generally are good trucks, so it's more about your own personal preferences in terms of which one you like the best. To me the Ram feels the "truckiest", the GM feels the most car-like and the Super Duty falls somewhere in between.
- spoon059Explorer IIA new 2017 would be a great truck. My camping buddy has a 2016 and he LOVES it. The 2017 is only better with the redesigned frame. My cousin has a 2011 F250 with the 6.7 and he beats that truck (farm truck) and it holds up just fine. I don't think you can wrong.
- DakotaDadExplorerRam owner here. And not a naysayer, ahem. If you want a Ford, for whatever reason, even just for a change of pace, go get one and enjoy it. They're good trucks. So are the Chevys. So are the Rams. Buy any of them with no fear. Most importantly, buy the one you like the best. If that's a Ford, congrats! You'll likely be very happy with it!
- I have a '12 with 123k miles. Only repair to date was a Nox sensor earlier this year.
My family really enjoys this truck and we find using it over my wife's vehicle even on short drives. The emissions system on this truck has been extremely good.
If I were purchasing a new truck today I would order a F350 King Ranch. - Cummins12V98Explorer III"Very strong quiet motor, and had no problems with it."
"I got tired of the maintenance issues and costs."
Interesting comments!
