Really???????
If you got some facts that says otherwise post it for everyone to see. :W
With all due respect, neither of you consistently back up your assertions.
Mr Cummins, I would be interested to see you back up your claim that "people that rely on their trucks chose RAM" overwhelmingly.
And, Mr Troller, your statements always seem to be from personal conversations that you hear from your trashman's, dog groomer's friend's sister. How exactly do you know that all the hotshotters that are driving RAM's are deleted?
BM,
There's no need to go any further with your question as you wouldn't believe anything I report anyways... Kind of like your friend here calling you out on your fuel economy claims.- shelbyjExplorer

Ok
RAM has claimed 30,000 towing along with other stats and many said it was not possible. Well RAM stepped up and they passed the SAE J807 tests for the 13/14 MY RAM 3500 Dually to be specific. They claim it's for the 15 MY but we all know the 13,14 and 15's are exactly the same for the RAM.
So I want an honest "no spin" answer from you. Will the same 13/14 configuration Ford with basically the same platform they had since 1999 pass the SAE test with all of Fords claims???????
Your claims are nothing earthshattering new.
The '13 are not the same platform as the '14... The 2500 still had the 5 link front suspension and leaf springs in the rear.
Will the 13/14 Ford's pass the SAE standards? I really don't know. Having said that, I'm not up to speed on the standard and how the trucks are measured/tested to validate meeting specifications and if there's any loop holes with the standard. What I do know is these new Fords (GM and RAM as well)are some really strong performers and with the larger turbo's will perform even stronger at the higher altitudes.
Tighten your seatbelt there will be more testing and documents out soon on the performance of these new trucks. :W And I LMAO ever time a Ford spanks their competition it's the Dodge boys crying foul. LMFAO... :B- Bionic_ManExplorer

If Ford is using the 550 650 etc in the sales then why when you look at total sale break down they aren't listed? Only 1/2, 3/4 and 1 tons are listed.
Exactly. Don has been corrected on this point before- commercial sales are not included in these counts ,F450 included I think.
But it matters not much, the 1/2 tons out sell the rest by about a gazillion to one.
now thats an a exaggeration :W
Well I don't believe I have been corrected but if you say so please show the link. It was posted a long time ago that Ford includes ALL F-series sales. If the 650 and 750 are not included then fine, but the 550 is, as it can be ordered with a pick up box on it.
As far as me spinning the story sorry Troy that would be you. The fact is Pickupjoke.com tested the Ram 1500 against the F-150 with the HD payload and towing options which puts in the the 3/4 ton range. Now you come along and say "Forget the plastic label badge on these trucks". BTW please post me a NON FORD test of the Ford F-350 beating the Ram 3500.
But with that said does a few seconds really make a hill of beans? The discussion here is why didn't Ford use the F-350 in their test? Why because it can't beat the Ram 3500. The F-450 BTW is a 2015 and the Ram is a 2014 are there any changes for 2015 can't find any, but seeing that the 2015 Ford F-450 beat the Ram you win my friend.
Here are the earth shattering results of Fords test BTW were are the fuel mileage results?
