- 2012ColemanExplorer IIBe sure to take a wad of cash with you - just in case the seller is demanding payment on the spot....
- azrvingExplorerYou also say Arctic Ocean. There are people in here who have been up to Alaska and all over so they know this stuff inside and out. I would surely have an emphasis on quality over size or whatever. You need input from the old timers in here.
- azrvingExplorerI dont know you experience with RV's so I'll keep throwing stuff out there.
Rear ladder
Arched roof vs flat
Frame design one piece vs 3 piece welded together
Sprig bracket quality
Tire size quality
Outdoor shower, I dont use mine much but want one
Fold out hand rail
Entry light switch location
Shower size
Shower curtain vs glass door. Door too much cleaning for us
Continuous counter space vs little chunks
Plywood not osb How thick of plywood
Could frig be removed and replaced with resi? amount of wood around it that could be cut out. Tight fit or workable. JUST in case.
Where is converter in relation to battery close or far
How much room for batteries tall enough for 6 volts?
Where are stabilizers mounted. Low on frame and get dragged
Where is spare tire
Bath kitchen usable with slide in
Where is power cord on outside
How many what type of ceiling fans
Where is water pump in relation to bed
Where is furnace in relation to bed
Where is frig in relation to battery for solar
Rock guard? - keymastrExplorerI had to buy new to get an Outdoors RV. Hardly ever see them used for sale. Arctic Fox have been around for longer although both companies were started by the same guy, Ron Nash. He also started Nash trailers.
All three of those companies are well built, much better than industry standard. and the ORV trailers are built in the same factory your old fleetwood was.
Good luck. Hope it goes well for you. - azrvingExplorerDo you know how to put a link in here? When you find these rigs right click on the address bar up top and it will be highlighted. Then right click on it and copy. Then come back onto this page and click on the 7th little box from the right up above and paste it in the top box. Then type short word in the lower box and click finished and it will be clickable. Excuse me not trying to sound like a know it all if you already know how.

Fleetwood looks like it may have a more roomy feel. Winnie rear pics of roof look like it's arched which is good for water shed I believe. Others may be along tomorrow that own these models.
We spend 7 months in ours so my want was a spot for a recliner. Wife wanted counter space and could live with the quality of the couch as her spot.
Often times RV couches and dinettes are not good for night after night of living in it.
My buddy has a 26 Ft TT with open bedroom design like your last TT. He put a recliner right at the foot of the bed and often sleeps in it too.
I often sleep in a recliner because of my back problems.
Oh! In response to the "Explorer" comment. I spent 15 years doing deep jungle exploration in the 80s and 90s, in the Amazon jungle. Thus the name, Jungle Explorer. No charge for that. :) - azrvingExplorerFleetwood looks like it may have a more roomy feel. Winnie rear pics of roof look like it's arched which is good for water shed I believe. Is there a woman involved? If so things like kitchen layout and counter space get more important. It's a big issue with my wife where I can make a peanut butter sandwich anywhere. Shower looks small in the winnie
Yes. My wife goes with me wherever I go. After I posted that last post, I found out that winnie is an ultra-lite, so I am not sure it is up to the task.
I found this minnie close by. It's a 26 foot like I wanted and not an untra-lite.
2015 WINNEBAGO MINNIE 2451BHS
This is exactly what I want as far as floor plan. I just want to make sure it is built well. I assume being a winnie, it would be, but making assumption can be dangerous. ;) - azrvingExplorerFleetwood shower looks bigger maybe more room in bath. I always thought winnie was quality but others would have to advise you on that
