- azrvingExplorerWow, you are an explorer. I'm just trying to look at all the pics and picture it all and try to pic it apart and look at good and bad. Things like heating it or cooling it as far as size. An example: My old FW was hardly used but when we started snowbirding the slide rollers started eating into the bottom of the osb slide. I exceeded its design. Luckily it was short enough that when I decided to pull a utility trailer I was able to double tow under the 65 ft limit. Are you good at thoroughly inspecting it?

Shouldn't be a problem for your truck. Price may be a little high but I would need to look more. Depends on in person inspection . Dont want to sound nosy but what are your plans for it. What type of camping or use? How many people? Will you need to run the AC a lot in TX?
I plan to do a lot of pulling. This year I am going to Texas to California, then to north Washington, then down to Missouri and back to Texas. Next Summer I am going all the way to the Arctic Ocean and back.
How about this one? I have always heard good things about this brand and it's a 2014 model and just 2K more then the wilderness.

NADA low retail for that TT is $11,550. I'd probably offer $11,000 if it was in good shape.
8600 GCWR for the trailer. I would think your 3/4 ton would handle it okay.

Thanks. It's a dealer, so I'll see what he will take. I want to go see it in person, hopefully the day after tomorrow. - WalabyExplorer IINADA low retail for that TT is $11,550. I'd probably offer $11,000 if it was in good shape.

Good for you. I hope the rest of it goes well for you :) :)
Now to get my new rig. I have been looking hard for what I want and coming up dry, but I think I might have landed on one an hour ago. What I want is more heavy duty RV in a bunkhouse model. Everyone has recommended an Arctic Fox or an Outdoor RV, but I can't find any within a 1000 miles and none that I can find are Bunkhouse models. I used to own a 1996 Wilderness by Fleetwood that was tough as nails and is still in use today (I gave it away to a young couple that needed it) even after two trips to the Arctic and being lived in continually since the day we bought it.
I just found a listing for a 2009 FLEETWOOD WILDERNESS 270DBHS about 150 miles from me. It's a lot bigger then I wanted (31 feet) but it is the only bunkhouse model I can find and it can sleep 9 people which I think is great. The deal is asking 14K for it. What do you think? Also do you think my truck can handle this thing. Silverado 2500HD with 6.0 V8 gasoline. - azrvingExplorer

If someone says they are going to go get a loan, tell them first person with cash/certified check etc gets it. If it takes someone 10 days for a loan, and you sell it in the meantime, well, you told 'em.
As others have indicated, you're overpriced. Now, if your focused market (single oil field workers) commands more, and the demand is there, it should have sold for the higher price by now.
Mike - keymastrExplorerAs mentioned, you have added money for standard features as if they were options but there really were not options other than the slightly larger AC unit. That option is worth about $7 on a 12 year old trailer. Dodge guy is correct, you have priced a $3500 trailer at $6000. In a month or 2 they will be getting rid of inventory for winter and the brand new version of that trailer, (queen bed no slide), will be selling for less than $9000. Just how it is.
