There's a huge issue with RV type tires that needs to be investigated for public safety. I'm amazed that no one has pushed this issue to the Federal level. These defective substandard tires are well documented and are a threat to the public.
We now have five Maxxis tires on our RV. We drove from Quartzite AZ, to Florida, back through Georgia, over to California, then north to Washington on Maxxis with no problems. We had to replace four defective Hercules tires in Quartzite. All four failed on the same day.
I remember the HUGE uproar when defective Firestone tires in 2000 resulted in several accidents, but RV tires have been failing everyday on RV's and no one at the Federal level seems to care, go figure.
