Need help in finding an RV site in Cathedral City Ca. area
I've been sitting here doing my research to find a place to park my truck & camper in the Palm Springs area (Cathedral City if possible) and I'm amazed to see so many restrictions regarding the 'unit' you may be using. Add to that age restrictions (wife not quite 55 yet) and it becomes downright tedious. With my on the laptop, and my wife looking on her IPad, we're about to give up! Some have terrible 'reviews', some too many restrictions for the $$ they ask (I want to rent a spot...not buy it) so I thought I'd see if many of you have spent a week or two in this area, and found a sufficient spot to camp in?
We have friends in the area, who are in a park where there is no room for others, so we'd be spending the majority of our time there, and then coming back to the truck/camper later in the evening...or that's the plan so far. One day I may very well upgrade to something larger, but we tend to like to get off the beaten path at times, so for now our Arctic Fox camper works fine.
We'd like some 'activities' in a park if possible, but it's not a complete requirement.
Any thoughts/comments would be welcomed.
