I'm mildly interested in this truck. I had planned on buying a 2/3500 CTD over the winter but some unexpected family medical issues cropped up so my plans were thrown on the back burner temporarily. Now I may just wait around and see what the numbers and pricing on this truck work out to.
The challenge will be the price point, because you can get basic CTD Rams for under $40k in crew cab/4wd configurations in my area. Frankly the Titan XD would have to undercut that figure by a good margin in order to interest me, and I doubt it will. Even the heavy half F150 model prices itself out of contention against the CTD, let alone a Hemi model.
It does appear that Nissan isn't making the same mistake twice with this truck in terms of the components. I still cringe a little when I see a current model lifted Titan going down the road with that toothpick between the rear wheels...
