Just something to note as far as transmissions go. Ford supposedly uses the same transmission for the gas engine as they do their diesel engine super duty trucks.
There is a significant difference in the torque between the 6.2 and the 6.7, but much less between the Ram 6.7 and the Nissan 5.0 diesels. Food for thought.
