Nissan Titan and Cummins
It appears the 2016 Nissan Titan with 5.0L V8 Cummins Twin Turbo is now available. Not having a Nissan Dealer anywhere close by I have only seen articles about it. 310/HP 555/ft-lbs at 1600 RPM...

The Titan XD is basically a 1500 with a diesel that can actually tow weights comparable to the top V8 1500. It needs to extra GVWR to offset the weight of the cummins.
The top end 150/1500 match or exceed the price of the Titan so don't see why everybody is making a fuss.
"Gee, I paid 45,000 for my base model 2500 diesel that can tow this much. Why would I want to pay 65,000 for a loaded top of the line smaller truck that can only tow this much?"
Compare apples to apples. This isn't a 2500 and it defiantly isn't a wimpy EcoDiesel.
