We are also looking at a 2014 Wolf Creek
Structurally and functionally, the 2014's are unchanged. The only obvious differences that I know of are diamond plate added to the lower area, the graphics on the outside, different interior decor, and the optional rear bumper w/step and Fox Landing (which I plan on getting at some point). Oh and LED lighting, which you already have.
I can understand why NW would add the bumper/Fox Landing option. What a pain to climb in and out.
Yep, and don't forget about the bathroom step, rear ladder, and roof rack. We also want a 6 CU FT 3-way Refrigerator. - joeshmoeExplorer

Please go ahead and edit it for proper width. (I ended up rereading on how to do it and ended up doing the resize...)
This is the old one with the single battery on the left side. I do not remember if it it had a slide tray... don't think it did:
This is my current short bed Arrow with permanent side saddles:
Edited to resize image. - Mello_MikeExplorer

I am not sure of the default factory set-up for the Arrow. As DWeikert mentioned, Northstar can and does design and build to customer needs.
I will say this: I had a late 90's Arrow made for an 8' bed (no side saddles at the rear)... it had only 1 battery slot. My current Arrow which is designed for a short bed (permanent side saddles) has the slide out tray which houses 2 batteries.
That's good to know. Where is your battery compartment located? Do you happen to have a pic or two you can post of it? - d3500ramExplorer IIII am not sure of the default factory set-up for the Arrow. As DWeikert mentioned, Northstar can and does design and build to customer needs.

Hey Mike, First I would like to say I am fan of your Blog. Just curious if you don't mind me asking about you looking at a Northstar. Your Wolf creek looks like a great TC? Best regards.
The Wolf Creek has been an excellent camper. We are also looking at a 2014 Wolf Creek and a 2014 Lance 855. Just want to make sure we do our due diligence this next time around. - billyray50ExplorerHey Mike, First I would like to say I am fan of your Blog. - DWeikertExplorer IIIf you're planning to order new from the factory, don't hesitate to call Rex or Rory at Northstar to ask about modifications. My Adventurer normally only has a single propane tank. When I asked Rex if they could build me one that has dual tanks the reply was "No problem" without a moment's hesitation. I also had them mount dual type 31 AGM batteries next to the fresh water tank instead of in an outside accessible compartment. This brought the weight/CG lower and forward. Though if you went with conventional wet cells it would make maintenance more difficult.
- Xpd77ExplorerYou could also do Torklifts extra battery mount that goes under your truck bed.
- Scott16ExplorerMike,
Looks like there is a option for a Dual Battery Slide-Out Tray.
I Don't know if this is what you are looking for, #34 on the option list. This is the 8.5 arrow 7'6" Wide Campers (Hardwall Campers).
