opinions please....on a old Lance
Me and my wife are considering buying a Lance Squire 8000 (10 foot, 9 inches). Today we sold our 1999 Fleetwood Angler. We have been truck camping for 2 1/2 years. The Lance that we are considering is old, a 1996. It is at a local used car agency that took it in on trade with a 2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty (SRW). The car lot sold the truck but the new owner did not want the camper. The asking price is $2995. I did walk through the camper the other day and saw no signs of leakage but I do know that doesn't mean a thing.
My questions are as follows:
Is $3000 a fair price for a 20 year old unit?
Are these tie down rings correct for this model? I happened to see a Lance Model 1030 down at the Jersey Shore today and the tie downs looked more like the ones on my old Fleetwood.

Thanks for any info you might have.
