Post sewer hose mod help

I cut a 4" piece of aluminum to fit bottom of bumper, no rust or pin holes. Talk to someone who covers gutter boards, vinyl siding installer. I think they will give you a scrape of aluminum. Used this method for years no problem.

I cut a piece of thin plastic (like a 2'x4' light defuser for a flouresent light ) to a size of 3 3/4" wide and slide it into the bumper. inside can rust all it wants cause the hose is sliding on smooth plastic. 10 minute job .. just leave it 1" shy on each end so rubber plug can fit in.

I think storing it in a metal bumper might cause it to wear because of the metal...maybe I am wrong. It just seems that sliding it in and out on metal will cause wear and tear on it. I have mine in the post covering and a gutter tray like some of the photos show.

Well tried out the new mod this weekend while camping, I had left the back of the gutter open in case I wanted to use it as a support. Unfortunately that didn't work out very good because when I went to get the hose to dump all I got was a empty gutter. The hose had slid out and stayed in the post. Well need to add some ends now....

Now, we as a society, have come full circle... The Roman "baths" also had social dumping... along with the sponge cleaners they used to "wipe"....)

I mounted my slinky holder in front of the tandem wheels. Used uni-strut for the tube support, and mounted it with 1/4" beam clamps, (didn't want to drill in to the thin frame) and some 1/4" all thread. Painted it black and it looks factory. I have the Valterra Viper hose, and the fittings just fit into the 5" vinyl fence post.

What a simple but functional mod,,I had a guy take pictures of mine last time camping,, he was in line behind me,He got out and asked me about it,, While he was taking a few pictures another camper in line also came over to see! Was the most social dumping I have ever done!!

I haven't noticed any water. Though I don't pull the gutter drawer out hardly ever either. I only cut a small piece of 2x4 and screwed it in the middle to soo stuff sliding into the center, no ends on the gutter.

I have the bumper ends caps that you squeeze the center to remove or install. Replaced the stock caps with the gaping center hole. Don't want any nest builders in there if I can help it!!!
