Chris, I must disagree. I have pulled my 5er over 30,000 miles with a 2500 4x4 Dodge with the 5.7 Hemi. If I would have had the choice I would have opted with gears in the range of 3.90's but mine came with 3.73 gears and they have done all I wanted it to do so far. Everyone has their own opinion and this is just mine. Happy Camping to all.
