This is a 1/2 T after all and HP is just one factor in determining a tow rating. Tuners can turn any engine into a potential grenade but no doubt the ED has more to offer. Audi's 3L diesel is rated at an identical 240 HP in NA but there is a Euro version that cranks out 313 HP.
