Slide out supports!

From these comments it's obvious we don't recommend it, but as with most things deemed unsafe, I'm sure you can get away with it. I suppose some do it to lessen the shaking inside the coach... I don't know. Don't do it myself.

I see it often with permanent residents.

It is rare I see anyone using them. If you got a nail in your trailer tire and your trailer settled over the night due to a flat, I think the supports would do a lot of damage.

IF OP bought trailer used they wouldn't know whether or not if supports were provided by mfg.

Jayco wllould have provided suppports if they were needed. Adding them will piut a strain on the slide.
