Slow leak in both air bags

Anyone have a fix to this besides replacement?

It would be helpful to give a few more details, like what kind of bags, how fast and by how many psi they are deflating, etc.
  • With a soapy solution spray the lines from the air fill valve to each bag to see if its the line, connection or bag itself.
Some installers are lazy and use one fill valve then "T" it off to each individual bag. The better method is to use two fill valves with direct lines to each bag for side to side leveling.
I would think its the connectors if they both are leaking but...you never know.
The fittings at any "T" or at each bag have a tendency to leak especially if the bags are pre 2008. The AB industry upgraded those simple valve seats where the line gets connected to the valve at each bag. The upgraded seats can be bought and added on . Try to tighten things up snug.
Check the AB mfg. for possible upgrades if you see bubbles where the leak is at a valve if tightening them doesn't work.
  • If it's the bags leaking then you're replacing them.
Have you looked for the leak?
  • Try tightening the valve insert. I'm assuming separate lines to each bag.
  • I have had air bags for years and learned they can leak for a few different reasons. Could be as simple as a hose connection. Speculation is pointless. Make some soapy water and brush bags & hoses down. Find the leak. Could be the valve stem, if you have one. One of mine will currently empty in seven days. I just deal with it as Les Schwab has replaced so many under warranty they offered my money back. Best of luck
