Seriously, this is not random vandalism...even in 1980's NYC when your car stereo would get stolen if you parked your car for longer than 30 mins, nobody did this kind of stuff....UNLESS it was personal.
EMD if you think that someone purposely contaminated your fuel, then you should be looking over your shoulder. Locking fuel/DEF caps only mean the next occurrence will be slashed tires, a broken window, keyed paint or similar.
