Seems you are very careful and it is not likely that diesel was mistakenly pumped. I find it equally unlikely that someone has a grudge against where you park.
The obvious answer to me is that the truck stop tank was contaminated. There is plenty of opportunity for that to happen on a busy truck lot.
That could very well be. I discussed it with my insurance company and they still paid it.
As they should. They might try to go after a fuel seller if they could prove something, but at this point too much time has elapsed, probably. They would still pay you first.
