ok, so i'll probably keep the black water tank. One of the roof leaks is at the exhaust vent. thinking it will be easier to remove and seal over vs. sealing around the vent. Do i need to have the vent working(hooked up) if i only have a gray water tank? thinking i could cut off pipes at floor so they are there if i ever sell this camper. BTW this is a 1988 17ft camper that i am fixing up to be a hard sided tent, more or less. No one will be living in it. Camping but with hard sides for bear country and a little more protection from the elements.
