toilet and black water tank and exhaust pipe removal

I have removed the toilet from my little camper( if we need one we have a river groover.) Is there any reason why i shouldn't remove the black water tank and the exhaust pipe. I'm thinking i'll keep...

Absolutely, or using our river Groover or using the campground restrooms. I believe the downfall of civilization began when we moved our toilet inside the house. But does anyone have an answer as to if I need to keep the exhaust vent if I only have a gray water tank?
