Wow, that was one of the most informative trip reports I have seen. Kudos!

We boondocked near there off of White Pine Rd in the BLM lands to the north of the park on our way to Lake Powell late September last year and there was already snow on top of Wheeler. We didn't have time to visit the park itself but definitely plan to some day.
