- SidecarFlipExplorer IIIDepends....I keep them forever anyway. My late model 1997 attests to that.
- AISURFFISHExplorerNo way i would ever consider one after that 6.4 that left me hanging too many times
- lmpresExplorerYes. Bought a 2017 F350 DRW Lariet last December. LOVE IT.
- Buzzcut1Nomad IIyep I would. I pull a 7000 pound loaded horse trailer behind the truck and lance. no way I would use anything but a diesel
- HMS_BeagleExplorerWhile it makes no economic sense, the power is hard to say no to. So yes, I'd only look at diesel again.
- Kayteg1Explorer III drive only diesels, even with our retirement we don't put many miles on them.
But making 7-800 miles on tank in sedan or 320 miles in truck with camper puts a smile on your face even before you experience resale value.
I also hate gasoline engines needing to drop gears for any acceleration at freeway cruising. - Grit_dogNavigator IIIYup....(had a '14 Ram for a work truck for a while. It did good)
- pianotunaNomad IIIno I would not go diesel again.
- JimK-NYExplorer IIAbsolutely. The Cummins diesel does a great job of pulling my truck camper even up steep mountain roads. The diesel is even more important going down those steep mountain roads. The diesel brake means I can go down even the steepest roads without stressing my brakes. In fact I rarely need to touch the brakes. My first truck went 80K before it was totalled in an accident. The brakes pads were less than half worn.
- 54sudsExplorer2020 chevy will have a new big block gasser that look real interesting ,just saying
