The Holiday Rambler MotoVan was a development effort to bring a larger truck camper that had off road capability not offered by other products of the time. The suspension was fully independent and used a trailing arm with air bag to give both a smooth ride and kept the trucks drive wheels firmly on the ground in all terrain. These where originally developed for those that wanted to ventured off roads and into back country with something more then the typical TC. Total production on the product was limited but then it was never intendant to be a volume product. As a Holiday Rambler product these are about as rare as it gets with the limited production.
The MotoVan production came to an end when Holiday's TC production ended. A few years after the end of the MotoVan the company did move back into the all terrain RV market with a very exclusive custom built motorized products based on a Oshkosh chassis that could go just about anywhere.
